Street sales updates
Hi everyone,

heART is a Fund-Raising Project organized in support of NUH Patientcare Charity Fund. This project aims to raise fund for the Blood/Marrow Transplant for Kids ("BMT 4 Kids") Programme by selling reusable shopping bags with unique designs. Following are some details of the street sales we are carrying out:

Time: 10am-1pm (Morning shift), 2pm-5pm (Afternoon shift)
Date: This Sunday (10th August, Both shifts), next Monday (11th August, Morning shift only) and next Sunday (17th August, Both shifts),
Venue: Orchard and Bugis

To join us in our street sales, please sms/email your name, HP, email and preferred date(s)/shift(s) to 9194 1471/ yfc.heART@gmail.com.

CIP hours will be given accordingly, depending on the number of shifts you take on. Extra CIP will also be awarded according to number of bags sold. You are also encouraged to bring your friends along as volunteers will be grouped in pairs to sell the shopping bags.

heART - A Fund-Raising Project for the "BMT 4 Kids" Programme, under the NUH Patientcare Charity Fund.

We are a group of 4 students from Hwa Chong Institution, carry out this Citibank-YMCA Youth For Causes project, heART to raise funds for our beneficiary through art workshops/competitions and sales of unique shopping bags specially designed by our beneficiary kids.



AIMS
Our project seeks to raise awareness of the plight of children with terminal cancer and genetic blood diseases, and endeavour to raise funds for the BMT programme through sales of merchandise designed by the children under the programme. Through the workshops and competitions conducted, we also help enrich their lives and allow them to express their creative artistic potential.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Art workshop cum competition for the children from "BMT 4 Kids", primary schools and community centres. Children will learn to design and paint their own artworks onto recyclable shoppings bags. Winning bag designs will be selected and mass printed for sales nationwide.

-World Record breaking attempt to create largest "mosaic" of shopping bags to form one COOL design. Childrens' artwork done during the workshop will be pieced together to form a huge mosaic to be exhibited around Singapore at our sales booth and help raise awareness of these childrens' potential in society.
