Street sales updates
Hi everyone,
heART is a Fund-Raising Project organized in support of
NUH Patientcare Charity Fund. This project aims to raise fund for the Blood/Marrow Transplant for Kids ("
BMT 4 Kids") Programme by selling reusable shopping bags with unique designs. You can view the pictures of the shopping bags on our

Following are some details of the street sales we are carrying out:
Time: 10am-1pm (Morning shift), 2pm-5pm (Afternoon shift)
Date: This Sunday (10
th August, Both shifts), next Monday (11
th August, Morning shift only) and next Sunday (17
th August, Both shifts),

CIP hours will be given accordingly, depending on the number of shifts you take on. Extra
CIP will also be awarded according to number of bags sold. You are also encouraged to bring your friends along as volunteers will be grouped in pairs to sell the shopping bags.

heART Art Workshop
Group heART is organizing an art workshop for beneficiaries under NUH Patientcare Charity Fund and students from selected primary schools. We will create the world’s largest jigsaw puzzle made by reusable shopping bags during the workshop. Details of the workshop are as follows:
Time: 9am-3pm, 3 August 2008
Venue: Hwa Chong Institution (College Section) Hall
What to expect:
· Drawing paper and paints provided for free!
· Learn useful art skills and create your own artwork!
· Get the chance to submit your artwork to “My heART, My DREAM” Art competition and win attractive prizes!
· Enjoy nice lunch provided for free!
· Get to draw a portion of Singapore’s largest jigsaw puzzle made by reusable shopping bags and get CIP hours for it!
· Witness the great moment of a new world record!!

Volunteers are also needed to monitor the children to paint a portion of the jigsaw. Up to 10 CIP hours will be given to volunteers.

Our very own heART website cum blog is now here! Updates and information regarding our project's initiatives and activities (such as the "My heART, My DREAM" Art Competition) will be posted regularly here. Upcoming events for you all to look forward to includes a specially organized art workshop on 3rd August 2008 for our beneficiary kids and other primary school students.
Newcomers may familiarise yourselves regarding our project heART by reading our "about" page <<(on your right!! haha).
